Of 4 eggplant varieties I tried last year, Nadia was the best producer and most disease/insect resistant. I decided to only plant this variety this year. It’s a beautiful and tasty summer vegetable.

Traditional black Italian type. Uniform, 7-8″ long by 3-4″ diameter, dark purple fruits are glossy and blemish free. Tall, sturdy plants can set fruit under cool conditions. Green calyx. Fruits all summer until the first hard freeze in USDA Zone 8b
